Playtech is seeking a candidate who will be independently involved with preparing financial reports and transactions includes posting information to accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices. The accountant also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
• Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
• Maintains the general ledger.
• Customers- issue invoices to customers, reconcile incoming payments and prepare weekly collection reports
• Purchase orders- initiate purchase orders, monitor approval status and provide the supplier with a copy of the signed purchase order
• Suppliers- record A/P invoices and reconcile to existing purchase order
• Prepare payments suggestion form, initiate payment approval cycle and execute accordingly
• Reconcile outgoing payments, bank accounts, foreign currency exchange differences and intercompany accounts
• Prepare, Reconcile and book monthly payroll
• Prepare statutory forms and reports
• Prepare periodic reports according to corporate guidelines and terms
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Conduct payroll for 100+ employees

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 5 year's experience as an accountant or relevant experience
• SAP software in preference
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Experience with payroll booking and payroll law
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
