St. James Health and Wellness is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in the McClellanville office. Duties include general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions. This position reports directly to the CFO and will assist in key activities such as month-end close, account reconciliations, operating reviews, and audits. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to documented accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.

At least three years of related experience required, medical setting or non-profit experience a plus.

Skills Required

The successful candidate should have the following:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.

· Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.

· Strong problem solving skills.

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
