Coal Creek is looking for an experienced Architectural Drafter in Utah. We have an immediate need for someone with 2+ years of 2D AutoCAD work experience in a computer-aided drafting and design setting. Electrical, solar, or wireless telecom experience is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST reside in the Salt Lake City, Utah or surrounding area, or be willing to relocate immediately. We do not currently cover the cost of relocation. This is NOT fully remote. Field work will be required.
• Hybrid work schedule, if desired.
• A background check and drug test are required.
• 2+ years of recent experience with AutoCAD 2015 or higher in a work environment.
• Electrical knowledge with AC Power, solar, or wireless telecom experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel to and do site sketches throughout Utah, Idaho, and surrounding states, as needed, and work independently. Must have your own transportation. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current federal rate.
• Able to climb ladders to gain access to rooftops, as needed, but it's not a regular occurance.
• Ability to follow quality control processes and requirements, as well as understand new concepts quickly.
• Attention to detail, able to communicate effectively, problem solve, and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include:

• Attend site design visits throughout Utah, Idaho, and nearby states, as needed.
• Create site sketches, take photos, and gather additional information in the field relevant to designing a cell site.
• Work closely and coordinate with the A&E Manager, as well as the other internal teams to produce high quality Zoning and Construction drawings, per project specifications, using templates in AutoCAD.
• Prepare drawings to a level consistent with our standards while maintaining project schedules.
• Make necessary changes to drawings from redlines provided by our internal teams, jurisdictions, and clients.

This is a salary non-exempt position, which provides the opportunity for overtime, as required. Pay is based on level of experience. We offer medical benefits, a retirement plan with employer matching, and more.
