We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Practice Manager to join our Bariatric Clinic team!



Responsibilities


What You’ll Do

The Practice Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of services within Portneuf Medical Group (PMG). This leader is responsible for supporting staff in their assigned area to ensure patient care is at the forefront of everything we do. As a visionary of the area, this leader develops innovative ideas to help PMG continue to provide high quality care to our patients and create efficiencies to benefit the organization. The Practice Manager identifies, develops, and supports performance metrics that align with Portneuf Medical Group strategies and goals. This leader helps grow and develop staff and inspires them to give every patient and every employee the best experience.
The successful candidate will be able to:
  • Evaluates processes, services, and talent within the area of oversight, identifying areas for improvement as opportunities for success.
  • Takes action. Uses information and research to take calculated risks while monitoring changes and making modifications as necessary
  • Guides staff through change by providing clear communication and utilizing change management strategies.
  • Uses financial, departmental, and external resources to create innovation and efficiencies.
  • Responds to and resolves patient complaints.
  • Builds effective relationships with others while inspiring them to perform at their best each day while providing honest, real-time feedback:
    • Builds common ground by actively engaging in and seeking out conversations of a sensitive nature
    • Meets rounding standards set forth by PMG and Portneuf Medical Center (PMC).
    • Models AIDET and holds themselves and all teammates accountable for meeting behavior expectations at all times.
    • Provides leadership to direct reports through effective hiring, comprehensive department orientation, training, mentoring and coaching.
  • Identifies knowledge gaps and develops employees by providing training opportunities and leveraging their strengths.
  • Formulates forecasts that support the PMG’s financial goals, and monitors daily, weekly, and monthly performance.
  • Ensures that effective plans are in place to meet targets.
  • Manages clinic revenues and expenses, team member and provider engagement, clinical quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. Makes course corrections when needed.
  • Provides analysis of scorecards, patient engagement reports, and other appropriate data to physicians and team members.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement to deliver high quality care, clinical, and service outcomes.
  • Ensures compliance with requirements of all Federal & State regulatory agencies.

Qualifications


What You’ll Bring

  • Associates Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • Previous healthcare management experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in community outreach, marketing campaigns is beneficial
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of state and federal eligibility and funding beneficial
