Avioq is a fast growing medical device and CDMO company located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Develops strategic business/sales plans. Negotiates and closes sales, meeting profitability, and growth objectives. Builds and maintains key customer relationships. Maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Assures department activities and initiatives are aligned with the company vision, strategy, and processes.

PRINCIPAL CONTRIBUTIONS/ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES

  • Builds and maintains important client relationships and actively pursues sales leads and prospective clients.
  • Leads, and mentors a small team of Sales and Marketing staff.
  • Prepares various presentations and regularly attends client meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other venues as appropriate to build a customer base.
  • Prepares business development strategies according to the needs of each client based on obtaining a clear understanding of their specific needs.
  • Quotes and negotiates pricing options and explains contractual obligations to potential customers.
  • Manages account services through quality checks and other follow-ups on a continuous basis.
  • Ensures that Sales Representatives are current on Company strategic goals, objectives, and product information.
  • Knowledge of Medical Devices, Biomanufacturing, or CLIA-regulated industries.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree, and 5 years or more of IVD industry experience. In-depth knowledge of the industry and competition’s products and technologies. Proven revenue generation strategy/ management experience. Strategic thinker with intuitive market abilities.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills as well as skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and project management. Strong entrepreneurial spirit with expertise in negotiating and closing sales. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
