Job Description :

We are looking for a business Development Manager who is responsible for general sales activity, sales communications, and marketing support. Additionally, this position plays an integral role in the ongoing education of patients, hospital staff, physicians, and community members regarding the menu of services offered by our agency. Responsible for driving revenue growth and working with location management to ensure profitability. Ability to cultivate a mature network of referrals throughout their perspective territory.

Primary responsibility will be getting new staffing contracts in the MA/CT markets. Target accounts include group homes, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, federal health clinics, and schools.

Essential Job Functions

  • Market Private Duty Nursing, Nursing Care, Home Care, Therapy Services, and Medical Solutions to existing and potential referral sources to achieve established revenue targets assigned on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Identify and develop relationships with all sales targets including but not limited to: Physicians, Discharge planners and Social workers in target accounts, Case managers, DME and Infusion Companies
  • Conduct in-services, and represent company at local, regional and state wide trade shows and conventions/conferences as assigned
  • Create and carry out a specific sales plans and market development plan in with company goals and objectives
  • Provide regular feedback corporate management regarding sales activity and success in market development
  • Represent the company within the healthcare community with professional decorum and respect for the patient care process
  • Responsible for creating and implementing an overall marketing strategy and build relationships in the community while increasing patient census and fostering partnerships with physicians, clinics, hospitals, community centers, elder law attorneys, Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and other Home Health, Hospice, and Home Care companies.
  • Handle various projects and deadlines to support the President of Operations.
  • Ability to help drive business, i.e, be analytical, able to generate decision-making reports and must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, CRM (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint presentation).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field; equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • 1-5 years of marketing, public relations, or communications experience in skilled nursing or health care setting preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meet company standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Suggest performance improvement projects and tracking KPIs for the current business
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
  • Assist clinical staff with paperwork related to referrals. Makes calls on referral sources for new client data or to have signatures obtained

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
