Duties:

BDM is responsible for interaction in the community and promoting company services.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyzes the potential of the company's service area to determine target markets
• Visits Doctor offices, hospital discharge planners, SNF and other possible sources of referrals to present agency credentials and obtain patient referrals
• Analyzes the company's organization to determine its strength and weaknesses
• Analyzes past and current marketing data and trends
• Completes an analysis of the company's product line
• Analyzes patient/company relationships
• Development of sales/marketing objectives and sales projections
• Develops a marketing plan, identifying strategies and priorities and sets a reasonable timetable

Job Conditions:

Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines

Primarily a field position with 1-2 office days for follow up and review with Director

Qualifications:

At least 3 years in Home Care or Hospice marketing

Developed and established relationships within the community

Must be organized and detail oriented

Must be able to interact with health professionals at all levels
