We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our landscape architecture firm in Solana Beach, California. As a Business Development Marketing Manager, you will lead our marketing team and drive new business proposals, requests for proposals, and requests for qualifications. The successful candidate will work closely with our Business Development Principal to support our strategic client or market targeting efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute proposal production, ensuring consistency in branding, format, and content.

• Work closely with internal team members and external consultants to prepare and collaborate on a proposal and interview materials.

• Coordinate and attend special events and also prepare the conference room for meetings.

• Check IMS marketing service emails and other web-based notices for upcoming RFPs/RFQs and project leads.

• Oversee database input for business development lead tracking updates on a weekly basis.

• Continuously improve proposal/interview content.

• Coordinate the preparation of RFPs and RFQs in collaboration with firm Principals and Associates.

• Maintain the firm proposal content library for up-to-date materials, including resumes, sector-based qualifications, portfolio project sheets, and related photography.

• Track all proposal submissions, client responses, client feedback/debriefs, wins/losses, and data related to client type and business sector.

• Maintain the firm's online presence through the company’s website, social media, blogs, and other digital channels.

• Coordinate charitable or media events, office social events, and vendor lunch presentations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the A/E/C industry in the San Diego, Orange County, and Riverside County region

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet strict deadlines

• Ability to handle proprietary and confidential information

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint

• Excellent communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and consistently meet deadlines

• Comprehensive, accurate note-taking, Reliability and punctuality

• Ability to work well with others
