Wash Hounds Car Wash is looking for a General Manager for its Bayonne Location. This is a great opportunity for a customer serviced focused individual to join a growing company and manage a new state of the art facility.

Compensation based on skills and experience.

The General Manager position requires management or supervisory experience with strong leadership, outstanding customer service skills, and the ambition and drive to exceed standards and expectations. The General Manager works with the Area Manager to develop and maintain a diverse team at our car wash to insure outstanding customer service and drive customer and membership sales. They are “hands-on” in the operation ensuring that the employees are properly trained/coached, that our customers are satisfied with all of the services they have received, and the facility and equipment are kept in good repair. The General Manager has a passion for customer service and team leadership with high energy, personal accountability, and safety. As the General Manager, you will work in a fast-paced and specialized service environment and will be responsible for Wash Hounds Bayonne location’s overall success and profitability. People with prior car wash experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Work with team to manage the daily operations of the wash
• Motviate sales team to grow customer and membership base
• Provide world class customer service
• Train, develop and manage hourly employees
• Administer company approved policy & procedures
• Maintain budgetary & financial goals
• Customer and employee safety
• Cleanliness and appearance of the facility
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on car wash equipment

Qualifications and Skills

• Car Wash Management experience preferred but will consider candidates from related fields
• Sales or sales management expiernce preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, (written & oral) leadership and the ability to lead a high-performance team
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, motivated, and a team player
• Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist
• Must be able to physically perform the duties and responsibilities of all car wash production and customer service and maintenance positions, and to train all car wash employees
• Have a valid driver’s license and authorized to work in the US
• Must be mechanically inclined
