Kutztown University Dining Services currently seeks highly friendly and motivated individuals to fill open Catering Attendant & Bartender roles.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares function areas for events of various size including tables, chairs, buffet areas, and more
• Responsible for pack out, set-up and breakdown of all items transferred into and out of designated locations
• Servicescustomers food and drinks in a quick, friendly and professional manner
• Display excellent customer service and maintain a well-groomed, neat appearance * Serve meals and beverage in accordance with catering protocol
• Properly set tables for special functions
• Wipes and polishes silverware, glassware, and chafing dishes
• Transporting food product and materials and loading/unloading the catering vehicles in all weather conditions
• Load and unload event equipment into catering vehicles, following all truck safety procedures in compliance with DOT regulation
• Clean all functions areas upon completion of service
• Perform opening and closing side work as needed
• Maintain storage rooms and supplies in an orderly fashion

Qualifications:

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Well-groomed and professional appearance
• 1-year banquet/wait staff experience
• Bartending experience with a RAMP certification
• Ability to understand and follow directions given by management
• Attends work and arrives for scheduled shift on time in proper uniform
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
