Discovery Behavioral Healthcare (DBH) offers a variety of innovative behavioral health services to individuals of all ages in East Jefferson County DBH is located in Port Townsend, a scenic Victorian seaport. We are currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee the planning and strategic operations for the agency, along with providing transparent oversight in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer and Leadership team.

General Duties:

• Promote and model the Mission, Values, and Goals of DBH.
• Assists the CEO in organizational strategic planning, developing agency goals and objectives.
• Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: ClinicalCare/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety.
• Responsible for overseeing facility maintenance and operations.
• Supports, reviews, and maintains, a budgetary structure in partnership with the Chief Financial Officer that meet operational and clinical needs.
• Maintain cordial, respectful, and professional relationships with customers, public, community, and fellow workers.
• Identify and formulate solutions to agency problems, respectfully engaging in needed group process.
• Attend team and program meetings as necessary to improve or maintain effective clinical, program management and agency function.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Business, Social work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Nursing, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of clinical/behavioral health background experience.
• Professional writing skills, including the ability to: produce clear, logical, and accurate reports; assist in professional grant writing applications including compliance with application requirements preferred.
• Experience with Union contracts and negotiations is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
