POSITION SUMMARY

The Chief Operating Officer directs manufacturing operations through a team of functional managers. This person leads efforts to reduce costs, increase productivity and build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers. This person also ensures increasing levels of employee satisfaction for Counterpart, Inc. to reach optimal success.

A. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATIONS

1. Minimum Requirements of:

· 8-10 years of work experience as COO with Manufacturing Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree with the preference of an MBA

· Experience in developing and implementing lean practices in manufacturing.

· Proficiency in Excel

· Excellent leadership skills

2. Required Certification and/or Licensure:

· Valid driver’s license and capable of being covered under the agency insurance if driving acompany vehicle.

B. POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Meets with and reports to the CEO about the company’s daily operations, as well as about the CEO’s vision for any upcoming adjustments or developments to business operations strategy, or other company goals and objectives

· Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning

· Oversee company operations and employee productivity, maintaining the organization's core values and culture that ensure the team can thrive and all company goals are met

· Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention

· Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary

· Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement

· Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with theCEO

· Oversee operations, HR, and accounting, sales management so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets

· Manage capital investments and expenses to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability

· Monitor performance and take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts

· Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues

· Oversees vital projects, builds, and maintains trusting relationships with key partners

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,471.50 - $226,066.48 per year
