Job Description :

  • Must have a Class A CDL with tanker endorsements to qualify for this job
  • Safe operation of the vehicle
  • Safe loading and unloading, observing Company, Federal, and State regulations
  • Excellent relations with the customer including attention to personal appearance and demeanor
  • Inspection of tractor and trailer at pre-trip and post-trip
  • Secure all paperwork, products, and equipment
  • Fueling of the unit, check liquid levels
  • A thorough knowledge of hazardous materials regulations
  • Coming to work on time and on a regular basis, and knowing when you are scheduled to work
  • Report to Dispatch any problems or malfunctions in any terminal, vehicle, or while making a delivery
  • Fill out all paperwork legibly and completely and turn in at the end of shift
  • Have a thorough knowledge of hazardous materials and equipment to suit customers’ needs
  • Perform any other duties required by the Company and consistent with the job
