Job Description :
- Must have a Class A CDL with tanker endorsements to qualify for this job
- Safe operation of the vehicle
- Safe loading and unloading, observing Company, Federal, and State regulations
- Excellent relations with the customer including attention to personal appearance and demeanor
- Inspection of tractor and trailer at pre-trip and post-trip
- Secure all paperwork, products, and equipment
- Fueling of the unit, check liquid levels
- A thorough knowledge of hazardous materials regulations
- Coming to work on time and on a regular basis, and knowing when you are scheduled to work
- Report to Dispatch any problems or malfunctions in any terminal, vehicle, or while making a delivery
- Fill out all paperwork legibly and completely and turn in at the end of shift
- Have a thorough knowledge of hazardous materials and equipment to suit customers’ needs
- Perform any other duties required by the Company and consistent with the job
