L&T Precision Engineering, Inc. Outside/Inside Sales Position

Overall Purpose of the Role: Candidates work as ambassadors and are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers. They must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales.

Key Responsibilities: General and Task Management

· Build and maintain new and existing customers

· Must be comfortable with cold calling new customers

· Secure new and expand existing contracts

· Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization

· Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers

· Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements

· Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods

· Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications

· Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships

· Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues

Skills and Attributes:

· Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders and suppliers · Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills

· Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities

· Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets

· Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the production, manufacture, and customer order fulfilment

· Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations

· Keen attention to detail and accuracy

· Familiarity with ShopKeeper Systems would be beneficial

Qualifications:

· Business/Manufacturing College degree and/or 2-year experience in the field

Pay will be highly based on your experience/qualifications and results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
