JOB SUMMARY:
The Communications Center Operators are responsible for various tasks, including dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls, logging downtime and department activity, computing park attendance information, and answering park phone lines. The Operator must be able to answer multiple phone lines and monitor and dispatch information on all park radio channels.
Pay Rate: $9.00
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
- Following proper operating procedures.
- Managing all park radio channels.
- Dispatching park personnel to various calls.
- Answering multiple phone lines.
- Maintaining a professional environment by enforcing strict radio policies.
- Logging ride downtime and security activity into appropriate databases.
- Completing hourly attendance tracking.
- Dispatching emergency situations in a calm, professional manner.
- Ensuring Guest First Standards are followed and enforced
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a clear understanding of Windows-based software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
- Multi-task oriented.
- Have an enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people.
- Be self-motivated.
- Have an outstanding performance history with Six Flags Over Georgia, Inc.
- Be able to respond immediately and adapt to all emergency situations.
- Have strong attention to detail.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule.

- React well in stressful and emergency situations.
- Possess above-average communication skills.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Be safety conscious, while also outgoing with a friendly demeanor.
- Be willing to actively engage guests.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Continued sitting for the majority of shifts within a typical office setting.
- Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech. Manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition.
