Position Description:
The Corporate Communications Manager plays a vital role in overseeing brand reputation management and communication activities that bring our story to life. As such this position serves as one of the spokespersons for Allegacy through, not only our good times, but when messages are hard to deliver, which means experience in change and crisis management is essential. This position will need to build strong relationships throughout Allegacys organization and with our local and trade media contacts, as well as existing networks.
With the support of the Corporate Communications Specialist, this position and its team will plan, build, execute and measure communications activities with Allegacy employees, members and the communities it serves through a variety of channels, ensuring Allegacy messages are being heard and understood. This position will have the opportunity to work with senior leaders throughout the organization developing content that helps drive business forward. This role will be responsible for the following:
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or closely related field; requires
7-10 years related professional experience with a preferred background in a financial services environment. Experience with social media, media relations, Meltwater, Sprout and SharePoint preferred.
