We are a growing, single Dentist, high quality privately owned Family and Cosmetic Dental Practice. We are looking for a qualified, long-term dental front desk receptionist with some experience in front desk responsibilities and basic dental assisting skills to fill in for back office as needed (one position). We will train the right dental assistant for front office or the right dental receptionist for back office. Our office is a relaxed and fun working environment that takes great care of our patients.

Qualifications:

• Dental Front Office experience is preferred
• Proficient with numbers and computers
• Excellent phone and social skills
• Personable, courteous and outgoing personality
• Organized, detail oriented and energetic
• Comfortable multi-tasking and working independently with minimal supervision
• Self motivated and problem-solver
• Dependable team player who is flexible and a fast learner
• Provides a great first impression
• Basic 4 handed dental clinical assisting skills

Duties:

• Greeting patients
• Answering phones, scheduling patients, collecting payments
• Insurance billing/verification
• Presenting treatment plans,communicating financial arrangements, assisting patients with understanding their clinical diagnosis
• Educating patients on the importance of their oral health
• Schedule appointments in consideration of production and capacity
• Following up on outstanding treatment, oversees daily schedule and assisting with meeting office financial goals
• As needed, basic 4 handed dental assisting during procedures, sterilizing, preparing treatment rooms, taking X-rays...

Pay rate is based on experience and skill. Benefits: PTO, dental insurance, employee discount, flexible schedule and bonus opportunity available. M-TH 4 days a week, no evenings or weekends. M 8-5,W 8-5,TH 8-5,T 8-2 or later if needed, or can be less hours (3 days/week/24 hours) if candidate prefers.
