Broad Function

The Director of Finance is responsible for leading financial, accounting and reporting activities for the assigned region. Partnering with the region president to meet organizational goals. Duties may include G/L maintenance, account reconciliation, revenue, asset accounting, and FP&A processes. The Director of Finance supports the company’s financial planning and analysis function by helping to drive performance improvement, providing quality management information, and furthering the development of scalable reporting systems and processes, analytical tools, and key performance metrics. The Director of Finance is also responsible for mentoring direct reports to achieve career path goals.

Essential Functions

· Promote, demonstrate and instill Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business

· Continuously develop tools/systems and automate processes; manage the implementation of a budgeting and forecasting solution to streamline the forecasting and budgeting processes and provide enhanced reporting functionality

· Ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and on time

· Assist in the forecasting process to ensure information is relevant, timely and accurate, working closely with regional finance and business unit leaders

· Perform P&L analysis, cost structure analysis and site performance analysis

· Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information

· Assist in the preparation of executive presentations such as the monthly reporting package and follow up on agreed action plans

· Support the weekly cash flow forecasting process and help recommend process improvement actions to maximize cash performance

· Provide training to new and existing staff as needed

· Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions

· Coordinate and assist VP of Finance on all aspects of external audits (RSM, includes interim and end of year audits; customer audits and borrowing based audits)

· Assess, coach, develop, and mentor personnel

· Strong financial analysis and technical accounting skills

· Advanced quantitative and analytical skills

· Strong presentation skills

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to communicate financial information on a financial and non-financial level

· Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required

· Attention to detail of 100% compliance with all company and regulatory requirements

· Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required

· Detail oriented with big picture vision

· Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

· Experience working with ERP systems

· CPA preferred

· 10+ years’ experience in service industry and/or construction environments highly preferred

• · 5+ years’ experience in supervisory role preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $174,218.37 per year
