Position Function:
The Director Human Resources Plants delivers both strategic and tactical support across multiple sites (4) in the Ohio region. Based in Mount Hope, Ohio, this role is a key player in developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and practices in collaboration with senior HR leadership and key business leaders. Primary responsibilities include talent management, culture, engagement, recruiting, retention, legal compliance, benefits, training, and managing other HR professionals. The role ensures excellent HR service to all levels of employees and provides HR leadership and expertise and is an effective change agent.
This position will be based out of our Mount Hope, Ohio facility, which is one of our premier plants, and will be responsible for multiple plants sites in the region.
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources or general business area. PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP desirable.
• 10+ years progressive experience gained through increasingly responsible positions within Human Resources.
• Prior experience leading, coaching, and mentoring direct and indirect reports as well as site leadership.
• 3-5 years of HR manufacturing experience supporting hourly employee client groups
• Demonstrated passion and experience delivering innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
• Generalist background with strong knowledge of federal and state employment law, recruiting, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development.
• The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to be both strategic and roll up your sleeves.
• Strong internal and external customer focus.
• Excellence in organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma tools a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Computer applications experience using MS Office and HRIS experience-Oracle or SAP.
• Domestic travel within Ohio region up to 40% in addition to other sites as needed.

• Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation.
