Dura-Line is continuously growing and we are in need of an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Manager with an electrical background to lead our maintenance techs by implementing a successful maintenance program and establishing initiatives as part of our team at our Mountain Grove Missouri facility. We need an experienced leader with over 5+ years in manufacturing operations, maintenance management, and supervising roles to lead our maintenance techs. You will oversee and participate in all daily maintenance functions such as breakdowns and repairs, project planning for materials, coordinating all electrical, machining, and tooling requirements, developing and fabricating, implementing a successful preventative maintenance program, and leading the local CMMS initiatives.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for the maintenance programs and duties; mechanical (plumbing, fabrication, mounting stuff together), electrical (wiring power to equipment, running network cable), and electrical controls (PLCs, sensors, configuring drives, spec’ing equipment out, understanding networking). In addition, you will manage and support the operational expense budget for department and facility, be responsible for the labor cost associated with maintenance and repair and requests quotes for goods and service. You will need to track equipment downtime, repair costs and recommended actions, assist with equipment breakdown and make improvements on equipment performance, determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow. We depend on working machines, low downtime, and quick turnaround to deliver quality products to our customers nationwide. The entire department is on 24/7. The schedule is M-F 8-hour shift and on-call after hours.
You will be empowered to bring your skills and knowledge to develop key programs, influence, lead a team and collaborate with other peers for best practices. On the production floor, we need you to be “hands-on”, proactive, and a go-getter.
We are looking for a servant leader, creative thinker, and problem solver with strong organizational skills and excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, MS Project, or similar project management software), and experience using CMMS, ERP System (SAP is a plus) is required for this role. A background in the manufacturing floor and working in facilities where there was a strong discipline for standards and job instructions is key to be successful.
Things that are KEY!
Lead and manage the maintenance department- Coordinate and manage a team to handle all electrical, machining, and tooling inspections & repairs, develop and fabricate new equipment and tooling, and ensure the upkeep grounds, buildings, equipment, and tools
Project management & Lean maintenance process- Develop a preventative maintenance program, ensure training and procedures are followed properly, complete reporting documents, communicate changes, and drive process improvements ideas analysis to achieve industry-standard goals
Influence and lead the maintenance crew- We need an agile, leader that will coach and mentor the team, invest in their development, and hold the team accountable. You will need to be a proactive leader and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs
Communication and organization skills- Communication with the team is the key to implement measures to minimize breakdown and repairs quickly. We need a hands-on leader that will be on the production floor, inspect breakdowns, make quick decisions, prioritize, and delegate tasks in a clear manner, and ensure the machines are running efficiently. We need a hands-on proactive team, not reactive
You must have working knowledge of facility machines and equipment in a manufacturing environment (install, troubleshoot, repair)- Mechanical (plumbing, fabrication, mounting stuff together), Electrical (wiring power to equipment, running network cable), and Electrical controls (PLCs, sensors, configuring drives, spec’ing equipment out, understanding networking).
