JOB DESCRIPTION

Connectpoint Inc, the leading provider of digital ePaper, LED signage solutions, and transit wayfinding information in the United States, is seeking an Electro-mechanical engineering technician to be part of our growing operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuration, product assembly, device repair and maintenance, and general device troubleshooting for various digital display technologies and solar packages. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists Engineering in testing and qualifying new parts, products and prototype builds.
• Device failure analysis, evaluation of customers’ RMAs, and conducting repairs.
• Part correction through mechanical rework.
• Wire harnessing.
• Instruction and technical documentation development.
• Programming, assembly, configuration, testing and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical assemblies and products.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree from an electronics/electrical/mechanical program or equivalent experience in a related field or program.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand equipment manuals, electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Soldering skills, preferably current or past IPC-620 and/or J-STD-001 certification.
• Familiarity with using a wide variety of mechanical hand tools and electronic test equipment.
• Strong ability to multitask and balance multiple projects under tight deadlines and resource limitations. Extremely high attention to details.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
