Description:

Email developers build and deploy planned giving emails for use by a wide variety of nonprofits. Combining user experience principles to build and schedule emails that effectively communicate a desired message. Day to day job duties are:

• Prep email lists and schedule email sends for various types of campaigns using their email list automation tool, Excel, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Ability to research deliverability issues and make recommendations
• Follows all established work instructions and works within all established guidelines and deadlines
• Responsible for email campaign production, including set-up, editing, testing and launching of email campaigns
• Collaborating with other departments to understand needs and goals of email campaigns
• Maintains records and work flow according to standard operating procedures
• Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required
• Collaborates with Salesforce Marketing Cloud to resolve issues and work through day-to-day needs
• Collaborating with project managers, editorial staff, web designers, artists and others to produce email campaigns and implementation strategies.
