As an Event Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Marketing & VP of Sales to execute all of Escalon’s virtual and in-person events, including trade shows, regional dinners and networking events, and webinars. This role requires experience handling end-to-end event logistics, managing vendor relationships, promoting attendance, and generating leads through events. You will be expected to execute multiple events at once while traveling to in-person events and acting as the main point of contact for internal and external attendees. To succeed, you will need to be detail oriented and enjoy coordinating every aspect of events. You should be passionate about increasing our brand awareness and growing Escalon’s presence through events.
Event Manager Responsibilities:
● Manage event logistics such as timelines, swag purchasing, staffing, vendor agreements, and lead generation
● Create, execute and analyze marketing events and programs to drive revenue growth for the business and to increase brand awareness
● Execute all events including trade shows, conferences, webinars, co-hosted and hosted networking events for existing and prospective employer clients
● Research and identify valuable expo and conferences to sponsor and attend
● Collaborate with the marketing and design teams on pre-event logistics including swag design, booth set up, email invitations, landing pages, social media promotion, and more
● Partner with the sales and marketing team on post-event logistics including lead enrichment, lead assignment, follow-up messaging, and more
● Own the event lead handoff process from marketing to sales and ensure accurate and timely distribution and follow-up
● Travel to in-person events as needed to provide onsite support, execute logistics, and host networking meet ups
● Manage and execute all virtual events including our Meet the VC webinar series
Event Marketing Manager Requirements:
● At least 2-4 years' of experience in a growth-minded B2B marketing events coordination is a must
● Experience with supporting a sales team and has experience with being held to lead generation goals
● Experience in finance or tech is a plus!
● Ability to execute logistics for multiple events across various cities
● Exceptional project coordination and attention to detail is a must
● You're outgoing and love meeting new people
● Knowledge of marketing, sales, and project management tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Monday.com, Excel, and Zoom Webinar a plus
● Up to 25% travel required
● Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
● Excellent written and verbal communication
