The Fireplace Company is a well established locally owned and operated Fireplace Sales and Service company located in Carbondale. We are looking for an energetic person to run our busy front desk and perform administrative as well as light marketing tasks.

Job duties will include:

• Open and Close the showroom
• Greet and qualify walk-in floor sales
• Answer and route incoming phone calls
• Keep office supplies and kitchen properly stocked
• Retail Counter Sales
• Process Mail
• Light Technical Troubleshooting (Computers, wifi, etc)
• Distribute general emails and voicemails
• Handle Insurance claims, vehicle registration, etc.
• Scan invoices, receipts and files
• Maintain social media marketing
• Maintain monthly newsletter

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior administrative experience in a professional atmosphere is highly preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Abode Acrobat, and MS Outlook preferred, whereas Beginner knowledge is required.

• Ability to drive on the company's behalf (requires approval of coverage on company auto insurance plan) and have reliable transportation
• Organized and efficient with solid time management skills

• Familiarity with general office software such as Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Adobe

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
