The Global Project Manager is a self-starter, operates with a “Global Mindset”, is responsible for managing complex strategic operations projects, and is aligned with the company’s goals. This role is fun and challenging as you will lead teams from around the world as we continue to refine our operational footprint while improving the customer experience. This Global Project Manager will monitor and drive business critical projects from project planning through launch, including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Their primary objective is to deliver projects on schedule, within project budget, meeting all technical requirements, reporting progress to all levels of management, and within product Cost of Goods target. This PM can expect to become impactful straight away and a key member of the Strategy and Integration Team within Operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develops and manages project objectives, work assignments and schedules to deliver projects on-time and within budget/scope
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving issues, and proactively managing risks/opportunities
• Manages cross-functional project team to achieve project objectives
• Manages the suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors on each project
• Conduct meetings within and across business sites and functions to ensure alignment on specific requirements to create cohesive business solutions
• Delegate project tasks to team members to leverage individual strengths, skill sets and experiences as well as to provide and encourage growth opportunities
• Monitor progress, develop project status reports and present to management
• Monitor and manage project risks and mitigation plans
• Ensures team members follow all Quality System procedures related to their jobs which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers and that changes to procedures are reviewed, approved and validated prior to implementation
• Some travel maybe required

Qualifications and Requirements for the Role:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar academic qualification in Project Management, Supply Chain, or related areas
• A minimum of 6 years’ experience in supply chain operations with a minimum of 2 years in advanced PM Operations roles
• Experience in regulatory impacts and labelling as they affect medical devices/ medical device production and operations
• A keen understanding with supply chain agreements for suppliers, external vendors, and consultants in operations in the medical device arena
• Excellent communication skills in order to present cross-functionally
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Project, Visio, Excel, etc.)
