We are currently looking for Full-Time or Part-Time Jewelry makers to create personalized jewelry for our awesome customers.

Destin Jewelry Shop sells custom hand stamped and engraved personalized jewelry. Including, Rings, Pendants, Necklaces and leather bracelets.

We also Own Aloha Surf Company, The Harbor Sign Company and The Harbor Shell Company, If you're interested in working at those stores as well, you can apply here. The associates we hire have great opportunities to cross train into other positions throughout the company to further their career.

This position is very rewarding due to how happy our products make people. This also adds more money in your pocket because of the amazing high cash tips associated with hand making one of a kind products for the customer. You can live off your tips and save your paycheck for something bigger!

You get the opportunity to get paid to learn a ton of great experiences you can use for your future including, jewelry making skills, stamping process, hand making products, Graphic design, sales skills and engraving methods.

Requirements are;

• Not afraid of getting your hands dirty and swinging a small hammer
• Ability to multi-task (during busy time)
• Not afraid to talk to people
• Previous sales experience (this only helps you upsell to make bigger sales which makes bigger tips)
• Have a valid drivers license and reliable way of transportation
• Have a positive attitude working with customers and team members.
• Timeliness (showing up on time every shift)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree

You will receive great tips every day you work depending on your customer service.
Schedule is open to part time and full time.
This is a year around job, it is not seasonal, you will not be laid off when season is over. We want you to stay with us as a team throughout the year.
