Hardware Engineer - Hardware Maintainer
AS THE HARDWARE MAINTAINER YOU WILL:
- Support operations of the Space Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS) mission.
- Provide 24x7 support of the hardware, network, comm and antenna infrastructure within SBIRS.
- Provide real time resolution of problems to avoid and/or minimize system downtime, by monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, restoring outages, performing maintenance and tracking issues.

Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience troubleshooting hardware issues
- Familiarity with Space Operations
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with SBIRS Ground Infrastructure
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering
- Computer / network security
- Information Technology Support
- Experience working with the military
- Instructor/Evaluator Experience
- COMSEC experience highly desired. Primary responsibility will be holding position as a COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO), and Secure Voice Responsible Officer (SVRO). Individual will be responsible for maintaining & loading various crypto devices (TACLANEs and Space Crypto)
- Basic Networking knowledge and familiarity with CISCO and Juniper devices
- Basic troubleshooting experience with IT systems and communication links
- Basic familiarity with DISA and commercial carrier communication systems.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
