Job Summary
GELITA USA is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of HR/Payroll Coordinator in our Sioux City, Iowa location. This position will primarily be responsible for processing weekly payroll for all GELITA USA colleagues. The HR/Payroll Coordinator will also be involved in the administration of benefits as well as support the talent management life cycle of our employees. In addition, they may provide support/guidance to managers, supervisors and employees related to human resources related policies and procedures. Support the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FSSC 22000 management systems and the Quality, Environmental, and Food Safety Policy as appropriate in the function.

Essential Functions
The HR/Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Process payroll on a weekly basis
• Be a subject matter expert and resource for Paycom (HRIS/Payroll system)
• Provide support for all employee compensation and benefits activities
• Support in the talent management life cycle (i.e. – recruitment, orientation, on-boarding, training)
• Assist in development/implementation of human resources policies and procedures and assist in communicating them to employees.
• Participate in budgeting and planning process
• Complete various local/national wage surveys
• Support employee and labor relations activities
• Keep appraised of appliable laws and regulations that impact human resources/payroll
• Participate in enhancing the GELITA Brand from an HR perspective
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Job Requirements
The preferred candidate will have:

• Bachelors or Associate degree in HR or Business and 3+ years of HR/payroll experience
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize
• Able to problem solve
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn in-house programs
• Ability to work with cross-functional departments within the organization
• PHR certification is a plus
