Human Resource Manager

AGQ Labs USA has an opening position for a Human Resource Manager in our Laboratory located in Oxnard, CA.

We are looking for an ambitious Human Resource Manager to support the company by managing daily human resource tasks. You will be part of a small team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s policies. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in human resource principles and able to work comfortably with state labor policies. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help implement best practices within the HR team—this way, the company can make the right decisions and accomplish long-term success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with management and employees to build impactful working relationships, team comradery, and increase productivity and retention.
• Work closely with the recruiting team to ensure open positions are being filled.
• Address employee relations issues and resolve conflicts and implement policy.
• Assists with new employee procedures, Employee Handbook updates and distribution of changes.
• Maintains general safety program to include conducting periodic inspections and safety programs on a yearly basis. Reports all unsafe practices to management.
• Assists with additional projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Positive “can do” attitude and has a passion for working with and developing employees at all levels
• Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Bilingual: Able to fluently read, write, and speak both Spanish and English at a collegiate level.
