WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Summary: This role is responsible for managing all computer systems / POS, hardware and software applications, along with E6 Gaming esports facility and park audio infrastructure, for Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The Information Systems manager will also oversee all information systems employees in daily operations.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

• Leads Information Systems Team in maintaining infrastructure that supports business operations (hardware, networks, operating systems, applications, and telecommunications).
• Support Network Infrastructure: LAN, WiFi, WAN, VPN, Firewall, Switch, AP, Router, VoIP & Analog Phone Systems.
• Manage and complete project-oriented work.
• Resolves technical issues quickly.
• Manage department budget.
• Select and purchase needed hardware and software.
• Upholding software licensing agreements and licensing laws.
• Managing security and integrity of systems, backup procedures, scheduling upgrades to keep systems up to date.
• Providing training, and support for new users on systems.
• Conducting daily diagnostics test on systems.
• Remain up to date with latest technology.
• Training Information systems staff.
• Evaluates the organization's technology use and needs and recommends improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.
• Work with IS vendors to help support the organization’s needs.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelors degree in computer and information systems (or related field).
• 3+ years of management experience in Information Systems.
• Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.
• Must have organizational and time management skills and able to work under pressure.
• Communication skills, ability to work with a team, and strong technical skills.
• Able to lead, train and develop a team.
• Analytical, business and decision-making skills.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
• Reports to the Park President locally with additional guidance from Corporate IT/IS Leadership
