Java Developer

Charlotte, NC

Hybrid--Must report in person to Charlotte office.

This Java Developer role involves working with the Treasury Technology team in Charlotte to design and build front-to-back trading systems and supporting subsystems. The role requires close collaboration with business partners to define technical strategies, identify requirements, and develop functional designs based on business needs and existing systems infrastructure. This position involves participation in the design, development, and implementation of large and complex enterprise-wide applications, often leveraging new technologies. The Developer will work closely with users and testers to ensure that requirements and test plans meet customer needs.

The primary skills required for this position is Core Java, with working experience in Spring and batch processing. The ideal candidate should have 4-8 years of experience with Java, Spring, Angular, Angular Material, and Grids. Strong UI development skills are also required, with the ability to conceptualize and execute a best-in-class user experience.

The right candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, a willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges. Experience supporting a Java application in production is necessary, as well as agile development and the ability to groom with all required acceptance criteria. Knowledge of cutting-edge software development languages, such as Angular, NodeJS, or front-end programming languages, is also required. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in writing unit tests or test-driven development, and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $59.00 - $63.00 per hour
