About the Role
As an Aquatic Designer, you will report to the Director of Design and Construction Engineering and design, engineer, and detail pool and water park projects. Primary role includes providing completed site plans from conceptual rendings include pool layouts, landscape, grading, hardscapes, etc. Additionally you will also be cross trained in various other aquatic design aspects in order to deliver complete project designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Waterpark and water amenity site design and detailing. Training will be provided.
- Develop and maintain construction documents from conceptual renderings to support the construction and equipment divisions of ADG.
- Coordinate design needs with outside consultants and project team members through all project phases.
- Coordinate project permitting needs with local and state agencies.
- Provide support to ADG’s construction team through commissioning of projects.
Qualified candidates should offer the following experiences and skills
- Minimum 3 years – no specific waterpark experience required
o Knowledge of site layout, grading, harsdscapes, landscaping, etc
o Must have AutoCAD drafting skills
o 3D modeling including Revit, SketchUp, Solidworks or Civil 3D a plus
- Bachelor of Arts or Sciences in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Applicant must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently; flexibility to work as a team member across all departments as well with outside project teams.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships at all levels.
- Excellent time management, organization and priority defining skills, with exceptional ability to listen, communicate (written and oral) and strong willingness to collaborate.
- This is an on-site position that will be based in out headquarters in Cohoes, NY.
- MUST BE already legally eligible to work in the US
