General Summary:

Provide hands on support for manufacturing process control and industrial engineering leadership. Provide support for specified plant manufacturing and Technologies.

Essential Duties:

• Provide technical support to two plants for mold processing and improvement.

• Lead cost reduction projects for specified plant.
• Purchase capital equipment.
• Ensure the efficient and high quality production of all parts.

• Assist in quoting new custom and proprietary business.
• Administer the ECR program, insuring proper documentation, approvals and action.
• Manage special projects from supervisor and manage/oversee subcontractors.
• Conduct safety audits and drive continual improvement.

• Support engineering department
• Other Engineering projects as directed by the Operations Managers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in plastics engineering, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Master Molder/Scientific Molding certification a plus.
• 2 years' experience in injection molding engineering preferred.
• Shop floor experience using lean methods.

• Demonstrated knowledge of start-up and fine tuning the injection mold process.
