Maintenance Engineering Group is seeking Manufacturing Engineers (Internship) for my client in Medina, MN for the summer.

Job Responsibilities

• Support Manufacturing Engineering with procedure creation and maintennace.
• Support Mfg. Engineering with tooling design, drafting, build, identification, and maintenance.
• Serve as team member on projects related to Process Standardization in Machine Shop and/or Assembly environment. Provide technical support to the team as required and as directed by Mfg. Engineering personnel.
• Support Lean initiatives in Machine Shop and/or Assembly areas as required as an active team member of such initiatives.
• Lead an Inventory Control documentation project related to high level Corporate Strategic Initiative

Desired Skills set:

• Ability to communicate on a technical level consistent with entry level engineer.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of Lean Mfg. concept.
• Basic understanding of Six Sigma/SPC fundamentals.
• Strong desire to learn and apply self to a variety of tasks/projects in a technical Mfg. Environment.
• CAD experience with SolidWorks desired.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
