Purpose

As a member of management, the Manufacturing Manager ensures that the facility's everyday activities run smoothly. The Manufacturing Manager often sets parameters to judge how efficiently and effectively the facility is operating. Most of their time may be spent reviewing and evaluating manufacturing procedures ranging from expenses to manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve operational practices
• Allocate resources and materials to meet project deadlines
• Track and forecast operational trends and analysis
• Provide daily operations oversight for teams
• Formalize policies and procedures in accordance with HR regulations

Management

• Identify and lead quality and manufacturing efficiency as dictated by the Quality Management System.
• Coordinate, identify critical path, adjust resources as needed
• Prepare, manage, and report operating metrics and budget variances.
• Hire and train new employees
• Capacity planning for man-power and machine capabilities
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager for quality, manufacturing, and capital improvements
• Overall site and facility responsibility, including physical plant utilities, security, and operations.
• Accountable for company safety procedures.
• Manage all the daily operations that take place in the facility
• Coordinate between the different departments
• Implement strict budgetary controls

Education Required for the Position of Manufacturing Manager

• 10+ Years of operations experience in multiple leadership roles
• 3+ Years of manufacturing experience with direct management experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering
• Management of diverse skill set employees, leads, exempt, and non-exempt employees.
• Leadership, team building, and management skills with interpersonal skills and communications with all levels of management and shop floor employees.
• Conflict resolution between departments and employees
• Able to travel on occasion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $81,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
