Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

• Demonstrate the ability to do instrument calibrations without assistance. Comfortable with working with more advanced technology to include circuitry, PLC systems, and programmable software
• Read, interpret, and write detailed mechanical, electrical, and PLC ladder logic blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. Should also be able to use software to draw blueprints using Visio and/or AutoCadd.
• Demonstrates competency in using all types of common hand and power tools as well as specialized equipment and most basic and advanced electronic devices.
• Perform general preventative and corrective maintenance without supervision.
• Perform emergency repairs to maintain manufacturing system integrity; summons skilled craft workers as required.
• Possesses expertise to work effectively on most of the manufacturing equipment and systems within the facility without support.
• Perform more complex corrective maintenance repair as well as perform layout and installation of new equipment and systems.
