This position is responsible for a wide range of medical assistant responsibilities including direct patient care and rooming, assisting with surgical procedures, communicating with patients and insurance companies, and acting as a medical scribe during office visits.

SSM Health Dermatology is a rapidly growing SSM Health affiliated clinic. Our clinics offer care to patients with diseases of the hair, skin and nails. Our clinics offer a wide range of services including on-site MOHS skin cancer surgeries, cosmetic procedures, and phototherapy in addition to the treatment and maintenance of common dermatological conditions. Required Qualification:

Education: High school Diploma or GED.

Registered Medical Assistant training and certification preferred; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 1 year medical experience required.

Dermatology experience preferred.

Computer Skills/Equipment: working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer required. Excellent typing skills required. Experience with EPIC system or other electronic medical record software preferred.
