Medical Assistant Faculty will lead lecture, lab, and clinical components of courses within the Associate of Science in Medical Assistant program. The Faculty member is responsible for leading courses, reviewing academic and clinical performance of students, completion of course related administrative responsibilities, student advisement, participation in programmatic and campus activities, and collaboration with administration and clinical staff. The Medical Assisting Faculty must possess comprehensive medical knowledge along with a collaborative approach and strong communication skills to effectively meet the needs of students, faculty and the healthcare community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree Required; Masters preferred
• CMA, CCMA, or RMA Certification
• In field Medical Assisting experience or teaching experience, minimum 2 years
