Job description
As a National Outside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in shaping the future of transportation by promoting and selling EV Charging infrastructure to businesses and municipalities across the country. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with our engineering and installation teams to design and implement EV charging solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in outside sales, experience in the EV industry, and a passion for reducing carbon emissions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities by prospecting and building relationships with potential customers, including businesses, municipalities, and other organizations.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to potential customers, highlighting the benefits of EV charging infrastructure and how it can meet their specific needs.
  • Work closely with engineering and installation teams to design and implement customized EV charging solutions for clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas as set by management.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to EV charging infrastructure.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Continuously update knowledge of company's product and services.
  • Adhere to company's policies and regulations.
  • Travel 30-40%

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, with at least 3-5 years of experience in the EV and Solar industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
  • Experience with CRM software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure and technologies.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to EV charging.
  • Ability to travel frequently for sales calls and meetings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable transportation.
  • Strong work ethic and drive to meet and exceed sales targets.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, or a related field.
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic Electrical and Construction knowledge
  • Multilingual
  • OSHA Certification considered a plus – Training is provided, if needed

  • Base and commissions with uncapped commission structure. First year compensation OTE (On-Target Earnings) $100K+ (Bi-weekly pay. Commissions paid monthly)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
