The Nursery Coordinator will ensure that nursery care is scheduled and staffed appropriately for all church activities including Sunday worship, Wednesday programming, holidays, and special events. The Nursery Coordinator will supervise the Childcare staff and ensure that they are properly trained and background checked. They will ensure that the Nursery is a safe and healthy environment for children and staff. While the Nursery Coordinator is not required to be present every time the nursery is open, they will be expected to be on-call while Childcare staff is on duty. The Nursery Coordinator will be supervised by the Associate Pastor for Faith Formation (APFF) and will communicate nursery supply needs and staffing updates to the APFF on a monthly basis through scheduled meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Abiding by and ensuring that the Child Protection Policy is followed at all times.
• Hiring & Training Childcare Workers using the handbook and on-the-job training.
• Scheduling & Staffing Childcare for church activities & worship.
• Communicating staffing & supply needs with the Associate Pastor for Faith Formation on a monthly basis.

Time Commitment & Salary Expectations: $125.00 per week ($6,500 annual salary, no
benefits)

• Estimated hours during the School Year: 10 hours/week
• Estimated hours during the Summer Months: 4 hours/week
