Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and inspire the team!
• Assisting patients in their search for the perfect frame
• Fitting the best of luxury frames and lenses to a wide variety of clients
• Eyewear dispensing, adjustments, repairs, and maintenance (training provided)
• Represent Georgetown Optician's vision and values
• The highest level of empathic customer service
• Lens measurements and ordering
• Administrative tasks
• Helping keep the store clean and appealing

The Ideal Candidate:

• Leadership experience
• Ability to coach on Sales, Service and Operations
• Highly motivated, positive thinker, and excellent team player
• Experience working in a retail optical setting, experience in luxury sales is a plus but not required
• Enjoyment in selling high-end accessories to international customers
• Detail, quality, and service oriented
• Organized work habits and the ability to work both independently as well as with a team
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Fluent in English - though additional languages are always welcome
• Ability to work weekends
• Able to multi-task and work efficiently – some days are busier than others
• Patient – Everyone is different when it comes to the eyewear selection process, some only need minutes, others…need more
• Flexible & Adaptable - Every day is a new and exciting adventure but sometimes those adventures bring on the unexpected
• Creative problem solving skills are always a plus too!
