Eastern Nephrology Associates, PLLC is the area’s largest, private medical practice specializing in diseases and disorders of the kidney. We currently have an opportunity in our Wilmington or Greenville office for a Patient Accounts Representative.

• Responsible for the resolution of outstanding medical patient accounts receivable.
• Responsible for processing personal payments received in the mail and by phone.
• Responsible for communications with patient with the ability to resolve patient inquiries and to negotiate payment plans; preparing reports for outside collections if patients do not comply to payment plans; and keeping records of collection and status of accounts.
• Contact patients on delinquent accounts by phone and by mail if necessary.
• Responsible for specific Credit Work Queues and processing patient and insurance refunds.
• Other duties as assigned.

Proficiency in Acumen/Epic or similar system is preferred. Knowledge of medical billing/collection practices are a plus.

1+ year experience in a medical office is preferred.

This is a hybrid position, after training has been completed and verified.
