CWI was founded in 1994 in a garage in Little Falls, NJ with a mission to supply refurbished spare parts to service companies, corporate end-users, and parts dealers. Over the years CWI has grown significantly. We've focused on the sale of refurbished computer hardware, and built relationships and systems to provide our customers with superior value. We have offices on both the east coast and west coast. We have a combined total of 80,000 square feet of warehouse with state of the art inventory tracking. We now support over 50 dedicated employees. While much has changed since Little Falls, our mission of providing exceptional customer service and quality IT assets remains unchanged.

Technician Responsibilities include:

Audit – Inspect, and test hardware for cosmetic and functional defects and document the defects with comments and photographs. Match the build specifications to the appropriate part and model numbers for desktops, laptops, servers and related peripheral equipment in our proprietary asset tracking system. Verify, troubleshoot and communicate errors in our data collection and data wipe process with technical and network managers.

Production – Meet or exceed minimal standards for our production environment which are set by the technical manager.

General – Work on your feet, lift boxes, bend to rack palletized equipment, and move as needed.

Ideal Candidates will have the following skills:

• Diploma from an accredited technical school
• Attention to detail
• Ability to perform multiple and differentiated tasks
• Ability to communicate technical problems in a written and verbal format
• 3+ years of hands on experience with brand name commercial grade PC equipment
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems for Windows and Mac software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
