The Green K9 is looking for a talented, gentle dog groomer who has a passion for dogs, and can provide an outstanding dog grooming experience. You would be joining a team of 4 outstanding groomers, all with 6 to 20 years of experience.

We are an independent, healthy pet specialty store with multiple services, such as: grooming, self dog wash and small dog day care. We specialize in minimally processed pet foods and treats, and unique pet supplies. The owner is a groomer and has 23 years experience in designing, building and operating award winning pet care facilities.

When it comes to grooming, we believe in quality not quantity. We are not a franchise or national chain with corporate management and high quotas. We want you to take your time, so you and your dogs have a stress free experience. Your skills will shine through to impress our pet parents and exceed their expectations.

Enjoy all that our modern facility has to offer:

* Large Electric grooming tables with overhead bar. Ability to utilize hammocks for difficult dogs.

* Walk in shower for seniors and extra large breeds.

* If a customer cannot pick up right away, we have spacious, comfortable holding areas.

• Unlike most grooming shops, we have a secure, mud-free outdoor area. Our staff will assure all dogs are taken outside for a potty breaks, so they stay clean and comfortable.

* We provide quality, chemical free shampoos and basic supplies. You will need your own grooming tools.

* No cleaning is required. We have others on staff who clean grooming areas.

• Bring your dog to work with you! Utilize our dog day care play group at no charge if 40 lbs. and under.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS: A reliable, flexible, enthusiastic person, with a positive attitude, friendly demeanor and a true love of dogs.

* A least 5 years of professional grooming experience.

• Have the ability to handle all breeds and temperaments, and have strong knowledge of breed specific standards.
• Proficient with clippers and scissors.
• Detail oriented and a good communicator with customers, especially when taking grooming instructions from customers.
• Handle dogs with care, compassion and professionalism.

One day paid, initial working interview required. Portfolio of past work required prior to interview.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
