Independent compounding and retail pharmacy is looking to hire a full-time pharmacist for Monday through Friday (10:00 to 6:00) and approximately one Saturday per month (10:00 to 2:00).

The ideal candidate:

• Possesses some knowledge of compounded medications and the ability to provide counseling and recommendations for compounds. Motivated individuals who are willing to receive on-the-job compounding training are encouraged to apply.
• Is organized and detail-oriented
• Has a friendly and personable demeanor. Our goal is to know our customers by name. We recognize that our customers could go to any pharmacy in the Treasure Valley; however, they choose Customedica because of our excellent customer service and our person-oriented business model.
• Is effective at multitasking and able to pivot to meet the needs of patients efficiently and communicate professionally with providers.
• Is able to answer customer questions regarding supplements thoroughly and provide recommendations based on potential nutrient depletion from medications.

Preference is given to candidates with non-sterile and/or sterile compounding experience.

Requirements: Current Idaho Pharmacist license or ability to apply and meet all requirements for licensure upon offer of employment.

Physical Requirements:

Requires high energy and working effectively in a fast-paced environment. This includes standing and walking for 8-10 hours per day.

Bending, lifting, and the ability to lift large boxes with arrival of daily shipments (up to 30lbs).

Ability to move quickly from one task to another according to the needs of the pharmacy.
