Must have phlebotomy or medical certificate. Responsible for performing efficient and effective blood draws, processing of lab specimens, and duties as an assistant to the research team.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Demonstrate compliance with operating procedures, lab manuals and guidelines

• Obtain specimens through venous techniques

• Assure specimens are collected and processed in a proficient, timely manner

• Maintain an orderly/standardized and clean workstation

• Document accurate recordkeeping
• Respond to delegated assignments quickly
• Perform ancillary and administrative duties
• Prepare for patient appointments in advance and order supplies as needed
