We currently have 6 treating Physical Therapists, 2 Occupational Therapists, and 2 Speech Therapists on a team to care for but not limited to Orthopedic, Acute, Pediatric, Neuro patients. We see patients from the very young to the very old in Acute Care, Swing Bed, Outpatient, Residential Living, Post-Surgical, and school settings. Patients are scheduled normally for a one-hour evaluation with 45-minute follow-up appointments. Therapists are allowed a flexible schedule to meet their patients’ needs. We are blessed with private treatment rooms and a large gym with multiple pieces of treatment equipment including a Biodex, seated and standing elliptical, 3 treadmills, recumbent bike, 2 upright bikes, rower, upper body ergometer, and 3 Nusteps. The specialty areas we are looking to fill include, but are not limited to, Orthopedic, Acute, and Pediatric care.

Your day.

As a Physical Therapist you need to know how to:

• Interpret referrals for physical therapy services and select the appropriate diagnostic or prognostic procedures for evaluating the patient's needs.



• Perform evaluation procedures and analyze the results to determine the extent of patients' needs. Conduct tests of strength, motor control, sensation, visual field, etc.



• Establishes patient goals, assess functional progress, while fluidly adjusting the patient's treatment programs.



• Perform complex patient care treatments and procedures. Supervising those delegated to the Physical Therapy Assistants or other support personnel.



• Confer regarding evaluation, treatment and progress of patients. Express judgments upon decisions to improve the patient's function.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.



• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.



• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or obtained within one (1) month of employment.



• At least one (1) year of experience in a similar professional setting is preferred, but licensed professionals at all levels are encouraged to apply.
