What you should know about being a PA at Geiss Med

All our PAs work autonomously, under the supervision of a Geiss MED physician, with travel required. It's also important to feel comfortable working with geriatric patients. Compensation begins at $120,000 USD / year

• Active, unencumbered license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• 1+ years of clinical experience in highest level of education (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to resident locations
• Ability to obtain DEA licensure/prescriptive authority post-hire

• Conduct in-home assessments including past medical history, review of symptoms, physical examination, medication review and depression screening
• Responsible for checking vitals and conducting a physical exam as necessary
• Identify diagnoses to be used in care management and active medical management in the furtherance of treatment
• Formulate a list of current and past medical conditions using clinical knowledge and judgment and the findings of your assessment
• Educate members on topics such as disease process, medication and compliance
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain security of protected health information (PHI)
