We are recruiting for a Physician Assistant to join the ECMC Outpatient Physiatry Service. This position is located on the ECMC campus.

This is a part- time position that is scheduled M-F 9am-4pm (may vary depending on needs of the department) 24-30 hours per week.

• 
  The ideal candidate would have an interest/experience in assessing and treating individuals with musculoskeletal and neurological injuries and disabilities. This will require obtaining an adequate history and performing a physical examination followed by treatment planning. This may also include ordering tests, appropriate prescription of medication and rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services. The position would involve outpatient services (8-12 patients per day)under the supervision of attending physiatrists.
• Patient-driven, inquisitive, compassionate, independent and dedicated to improving the health of patients
