Doylestown Emergency Associates, PC (DEA) is seeking an energetic, and highly motivated Physician’s Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our practice located in Doylestown, PA. DEA is a private and democratic emergency physician group that has been providing emergency care at Doylestown Hospital for over 30 years.

Currently a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) position is available. Our emergency department has over 47,000 annual visits per year, and is a 41 bed ED. The Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner within the emergency care hospital setting works in collaboration with, and is an integral member of, a multidisciplinary health care team. The group is a cohesive and highly skilled team of board certified Emergency Medicine physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioner’s, all with an emphasis in professionalism and quality care.

SUMMARY OF JOB:

To perform, under the supervision of the ED physicians, and provide comprehensive emergency care to our patients. Providing support and services to our team includes, but is not limited to:

• Documenting patient care and compliance with quality standards
• Ordering and managing medical care under the supervision of an ED Physician, with the ability to seek guidance when appropriate
• Assessing the condition and needs of a patient based on interviews, interactions, and observations
• Ordering and interpreting patient laboratory and radiological results

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ Years Emergency Medicine experience as a PA or CRNP in a Hospital setting
• Graduate of an accredited NP program or PA Program
• CRNP or PA-C License in the state of Pennsylvania
• ACLS, PALS certifications
• DEA License
• NIHSS Stroke Certification
• Covid Vaccine

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $117,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
